There are mixed reactions from Criminologist Professor Ramesh Deosaran on word that Canadian, Neal Parker is the forerunner for the post of this country’s new Police Commissioner. In an interview on Friday morning Deosaran argued that a foreigner may be better able to sanitise the service and rid it of corruption. A security guard who left her home at Embacadere around 6:30 Wednesday morning for work, received a startling call some 15 minutes later indicating that her home had been destroyed by fire. Susan Emenesse returned to find her common law husband, Ian Burton and fire officers at the scene. The house was gutted.
